No. No. 15.2 Products/materials in contact with drinking water The ÖNORM standards differentiate between drinking water (temperature <= 25 °C) and warm water (greater than +25 °C to +60 °C) and hot water (60.01 to 85 °C). Are pipes, fittings etc. that are used in the warm or hot water pipe therefore subject to an installation mark?
This differentiation of temperature ranges is not relevant for the installation mark obligation. The scope of the Drinking Water Directive (EU) does not contain any limitation of the application temperature (EU). ÖNORM B 5014-1 also refers to the Drinking Water Ordinance (Federal Law Gazette II No. 304/2001) in the definition of hot water in section 3.4 and warm water in section 3.15. Note: ÖLMB Chapter B1 defines an indicator parameter of 25 °C for cold water, but refers to hot water in Annex 6, Section 1.4.1.
