Guidelines for European Technical Approvals (ETAGs) that are currently still valid can be used by TABs as European Assessment Documents in accordance with Article 66(3) of Regulation(EU) No 305/2011 (Construction Products Regulation). These are available in electronic form on the website of the European Organization for Technical Assessment(EOTA) at https://www.eota.eu/etags-archive in English.
European Assessment Documents (EADs)
The European Assessment Documents (EADs) are also available on the website of the European Organization for Technical Assessment(EOTA) is available in full text in English at https://www.eota.eu/en-GB/content/eads/56/.
Explanation On the EOTA website(www.eota.eu), all EOTA guidelines can be found in full text under the subtitle “ETAGs” under the heading “Our Publications”. The publication of the reference of the EEAS in the Official Journal of the EU does not delete the guideline, but adds a note indicating which EEAS “supersedes” this guideline for the issuance of ETAs. The “EAD” button on the homepage of the EOTA website can be used to call up the complete list of accepted final EADs on the basis of which at least one ETA has been issued. As soon as the reference of an EAD is published in the Official Journal of the EU, the full text version of the EAD is also made available for download; this is done in accordance with the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation, Annex II, point 8.For an EAD as a successor document to an ETAG, the full text version is made available immediately after publication of the reference in the Official Journal of the EU, regardless of whether an ETA has been issued or not.
