At an internal media training course, our colleagues gained exciting insights into how the media and journalists work – from the basics to dealing with media inquiries.
With the new edition of the OIB Guidelines in 2027 and the new OIB Guidline 7 in particular, we can expect increased public and media interest in the future. This makes it all the more important for us to be well prepared and to gain confidence in dealing with the media.
The training was led by experienced communications trainer Angela Pengl-Böhm – a former ORF journalist and long-standing expert in media and communications training. In a relaxed atmosphere, with many practical examples and exciting insights, it quickly became clear that media work means much more than just “giving an interview”.
The continuation will follow soon – with in-depth interview training. In this way, we want to become fit for future media inquiries step by step.
