In order to represent the interests of the Federal States in European and international technical bodies, the Austrian Institute of Construction Engineering (OIB) is a member of the following committees and organisations:

• Standing Committee on Construction
• Administrative Cooperation Croup for the Market Surveillance of Construction Products
• European Organisation for Technical Assessments (EOTA)
• Consortium of European Building Control (CEBC)
• Inter-Jurisdictional Regulatory Collaboration Commitee (IRCC)
• Austrian Standars Institute (ASI)
